Introduction
Another You is the brand-new collaboration between Australian pop star Ruel and American singer-songwriter Sadie Jean, released as an official visualizer on Ruel's YouTube channel. The duet pairs two of pop's most emotive young voices over a soft, late-night production. Here on Muxic Leaks, we break down the song, its artists, the official visual and the team behind it.
The Song
Another You is a slow-burning pop duet about the one who got away - the kind of love you keep measuring every new face against. Gentle piano, hushed harmonies and a swelling chorus give the song its dreamy ache, as the two voices circle each other like two sides of the same memory.
The Artists
Ruel, the Australian singer known for his soulful baritone and heart-on-sleeve songwriting, leads the track, while Sadie Jean - the voice behind the viral heartbreak ballad WYD Now? - answers him verse for verse. Together, they make Another You feel like a conversation neither of them wants to end.
The Music Video
The official visualizer for Another You, directed and produced by Cedric Tang, premiered on Ruel's official YouTube channel on 16 October 2026. Its soft, minimal visuals keep the focus on the song's mood, letting the duet's quiet heartbreak do the talking.
The Music Label
Another You is released under Giant Music, with the official visualizer hosted on Ruel's own channel. The song arrives as Ruel continues a run of intimate, fan-favourite releases, this time sharing the spotlight with Sadie Jean.

Another You Lyrics & Meaning
In spirit, Another You is about the impossible search for a replacement - meeting new people while quietly knowing that none of them is the one you lost. The song dwells in that in-between space where moving on looks easy from the outside but feels impossible up close, and its tenderness comes from admitting that some people simply cannot be replaced.
