I SPY — Lyrics & Meaning
I SPY takes the world's simplest children's game and turns it into a metaphor for young love. The song follows the thrill of spotting someone special in a crowd — the double-take, the racing heart, the feeling that among everyone in the world, your eyes found exactly one person. The hide-and-seek framing keeps everything light and innocent: love here is not heavy or dramatic, it is a game of glances, near-misses and sweet anticipation. NCT WISH's youthful delivery makes the concept feel completely sincere — this is the sound of a first crush, when the whole world feels bright and every moment of eye contact feels like a small victory. It is a reminder of how simple and pure attraction feels before life complicates it.
