Stupid Song — Lyrics & Meaning
In simple words, Stupid Song is about wanting someone so intensely that no song, however well written, feels big enough to hold the feeling. Olivia describes a head-over-heels infatuation that leaves her restless, sleepless and happily overwhelmed, where even hearing the person's name is enough to set her heart racing. It is a love song that admits its own limits, and that honesty is exactly what makes it hit home.
