Introduction
"Ruthless" is a bold new Punjabi song by Diljit Dosanjh, presented as an official visualizer on Intense's YouTube channel. It is introduced as the first single from the album "Intense", and it carries exactly the attitude its title promises: confident, fearless and completely unapologetic. The song is sung by Diljit Dosanjh, the words are written by Manna Datte Aala, and the music is produced by Intense, whose hard-hitting sound gives the track its edge. On this page you will find the complete song details and credits, a short summary of the song's meaning in our own words, the official visualizer and answers to the questions listeners ask most about this release.
The Song
"Ruthless" is a statement track. Over a heavy, modern beat, Diljit delivers his lines with the calm confidence of an artist who has nothing left to prove. The writing by Manna Datte Aala is sharp and direct, built around self-belief, success and not bowing down to anyone's opinion. Intense's production keeps the energy dark and powerful, with a groove that hits hard while leaving Diljit's voice right at the front. It is a short, punchy listen designed to be replayed, the kind of song that sounds best loud.
The Artists
Diljit Dosanjh is one of the biggest Punjabi artists in the world, a singer and actor whose music travels far beyond Punjab, from sold-out arena tours to global stages. His strength is his versatility, and on "Ruthless" he leans fully into his fearless, larger-than-life side. Lyricist Manna Datte Aala brings a raw, honest writing style that suits Diljit perfectly, while producer Intense, known for shaping a modern Punjabi sound with artists across the industry, gives the song its powerful backbone. Together they make a team built for anthems like this one.
The Music Video
"Ruthless" is presented as an official visualizer, created by Sickk.jpeg, rather than a full story-based music video. The visual style is bold and minimal, designed to keep the focus on Diljit's presence and the attitude of the song itself, and it works perfectly for a track like this.
